This stunning glass piece is inspired by the iconic electric blue of Southern Oregon’s Crater Lake, the deepest lake in the United States at 1,949 feet. The glass captures the lake’s vibrant hue, a result of its remarkable depth and clarity. Sunlight penetrates the water, absorbing long wavelengths and reflecting shorter ones to create the lake’s signature electric blue. This piece is a tribute to the natural beauty and awe-inspiring brilliance of one of the world’s deepest and most pristine bodies of water.
